Time flies! We’ve been invited to Rome to play 2 acoustic shows with my dear friend Max from the band Dog Byron 17 & 18 April and will fly out next week. The funny thing is 2 years ago Max was staying with me in London for a few days and one morning I got up and said ‘let’s write a song together!’. So I got on the drums (set in the middle of my living room) and started playing rhythm and singing out loud some lyrics and melody. Max grabbed one of the guitars hanging on the wall and we recorded the idea. The result of that jam is now the new Dog Byron’s single called “Crave” which I’m proud to have contributed writing and on which I recorded backing vocals.
As for London gigs, the latest one at Surya was really enjoyable for us and our fans. In fact we were asked to play a long set, hooray!!! We happily played songs from both our albums, which was very fulfilling considering we usually have to cut songs off the setlist for lack of time.
At our next London show on 2nd of May we’ll be supporting Die So Fluid, one of our favourite bands, as we did last year. It’s gonna be a reinvigorating high energy female fronted rock night… get ready!
See you soon. Wishing you all a very peaceful Easter and lotsa love.
